Avoiding uncomfortable situations limits our growth because growth comes from the changes we experience while overcoming difficulties.

Avoiding Difficulty…the timing of this Doc…thank you..you don’t know…appreciate all that you do
I had been struggling with pleasing people all my life, along with something of a low self esteem so much that one of my old bosses said he believed in me even more than I did! He actually wanted to send me to stress management classes! Well I thought that was hilarious at age 22, but he tasked me with the only case ( we made gas permeable contact lenses) where the color was black! Being the person responsible for the optical zone in this very small lens, it was difficult to see the cuts I had made according to specs, but I did my best and what do you know… it was perfect! The whole team did a fantastic job and i was introduced to someone in the lens fabrication field that was delighted that in the first try, the product was 100% perfect and the Asian woman was very happy she finally got a good lens!
Why I’m telling this particular story is that sometimes we need to have faith and believe in ourselves, like David had explained… and that could be the beginning if healing for someone. I have had many traumas in my life, starting as a child less than 3 years old.. I’ve considered myself a survivor of a lot of abuses that I’d rather not get into at this time, but have let myself fall again and I’m having a hard time with the low esteem and feeling unworthy( I’ve been told I’m useless… probably out of anger from that person), but I know how far I’ve come and cant let myself believe that person as I struggle to move forward again. David, your shows have helped me so much and the fact that you are putting the significance of dreams into the healing and faith…. it totally resonates with me. I’ve been jotting down my dreams since a teen and sometimes I scare myself with just how many come true and I believe certain dreams are God’s way of telling has things and it’s up to us to realize what the message is. Thank you for taking the time to read my” novel” of a comment and God bless you for all the hard work you do in trying to heal people through God’s work! Many continued blessings to you!
